This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), Biological and Economic Analysis Division (BEAD), Economic Analysis Branch (EAB).DutiesAt the entry level of this position, you will:- Review and analyze pesticide related economic data for reports used for solving economic issues;- Conduct cost benefit and socio-economic related research studies used to analyze and provide recommendations for senior management;- Observe pesticide regulation related statistical and econometric analyses findings and attend briefings to discuss policy and program decision implications;- Prepare documentation relating to pesticide economic analyses such as reports, contracts, data gathering, and other documents.When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.For specific information on qualifications and eligibility, see the USAJOBS application.
