The Director (General) of Risk Management is accountable for improving student achievement through the effective management of assigned functions and activities; planning, organizing, controlling and directing the district’s general liability and workers’ compensation programs to provide timely delivery of high-quality services to staff, sites and departments while reviewing and analyzing the district’s current position for compliance with established codes, laws and best practices and protecting the district from exposure to risk that could have adverse consequences to district operations and finances.

 

Requirements:

  • Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or related experience in area of specialty and five years increasingly responsible supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Valid California Administrative Services Credential and/or Teacher’s Credential may be required based on assignments and/or area(s) of responsibility.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
