Chemours is seeking a Data Science Summer Intern to join our Data Services team! This position will report directly to the Director, Data Services.  

AS the Data Scientist Intern, will work closely with the Data Services team in helping us create predictive models, particularly focused on predictive maintenance opportunities at our plant sites.

Location: Wilmington, DE

Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Term: May-August 2022

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Developing predictive models using the full range of platform capabilities in Microsoft Azure 
• Writing data preparation and analysis routines in Python using the pandas and scikit-learn packages 
• Participating in data set design and statistical modeling discussion

The following is required for this role:

• Current enrollment at an accredited university as a sophomore or above 
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar fields  
• Experience with Python using the pandas and scikit-learn packages

The following is preferred for this role:

• Experience with Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and/or Microsoft Power BI 
• 3.0 GPA or above
