The Bureau of Revenue and Fiancial Services is seeking a Configuration Specialist Business Systems Analyst to join their Business Solutions Division!
The Business Solutions Division (BSD) Configuration Specialist BSA supports revenue collection information systems for the City of Portland’s General Fund and other programs and funding initiatives.
As a Configuration Specialist, you will:
- Be part of a collaborative and agile team of professionals implementing technology solutions, carrying out your responsibilities with creativity, accountability and initiative while exercising sound professional judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Complete software configuration, testing, and design, as well as analysis of business rules, processes, and data for a variety of modules and services, such as customer accounts, returns, payments, transactions, billing, refunds, revenue accounting, compliance, audit, reporting, discovery, workflow, task management, e-Services, security, and imaging for Revenue’s Integrated Tax System (ITS).
- Support and configure legacy applications and system interfaces such as 2D barcode, modernized eFile, SAP, Portland Maps and Adobe forms; and data warehouse imports including Federal Tax Information.
- Anticipate future system needs and seek opportunities for improvements.
