Research Associate position for the Clelland Lab at UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences. The goal of the Clelland lab is develop novel therapies for neurodegenerative diseases like dementias and ALS. Projects focused on basic mechanisms of disease and CRISPR gene editing in iPSC-derived neurons. We work with our close collaborators at the Innovative Genomics Institute. Strong communication skills and a background in molecular biology or bioinformatics required. Cell culture preferred. Applicants intending on progressing to graduate or medical school are encouraged to apply. A college degree (preferred) and laboratory experience required. Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.

Start dates flexible until the position is filled. We prefer a 2 year commitment.
