Vital Medical Services, LLC (www.vitalmedicalservices.com), a portfolio company of Oceanview Capital Partners, Inc., is currently accepting applications for its Business Operations Coordinator position.

Vital Medical Services, LLC was co-founded by professionals with public safety and emergency medicine backgrounds with the goal of bringing emergency medicine and public safety together to maximize law enforcement patrol times efficiently and reduce liability to municipalities. Vital Medical Services, LLC currently serves over 30 public agencies, saving municipalities over $5 million while managing arrestee-related risk. Vital Medical Services, LLC offers specialized medical programs such as Forensic Blood Evidence Collection, Medical Screenings known as “Okay to Books,” Communicable Disease Exposure Testing, and Nasal Naloxone Programs.

Responsibilities:

As a Vital Medical Services, LLC Business Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining the running operations of various divisions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Work with the Director of Operations to follow-up on outstanding items from clients and patients

·        Occasional COVID-19 patient result reporting

·        Reconcile and verify confidential medical records and operations data

·        Liaise with relevant teams to ensure industry-best operational standards

·        Maintain flow of inbound and outbound documents

·        Produce accurate and timely reports

·        Produce analysis with operating metrics data by procedure type

·        Execute key data entry functions in effort to maintain day-to-day operations

·        Prepare and assemble health services kits for field use

·        Assist the Operations team on special projects & ad hoc requests

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required

·        Availability to work full-time strongly preferred

·        Prior experience working in a medical office strongly preferred

·        Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

·        Strong attention to detail, superior work ethic and integrity, and eagerness to learn

·        High level of energy and flexibility with a positive, team-oriented attitude

·        Strong research skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data

·        Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing and communication skills

·        Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times

·        Interest in healthcare operations and/or entrepreneurship

·        Must have ties to the Greater Los Angeles area
