The Department of Taxes is seeking a Business Analyst to work in the Finance Division of the Department. The Finance Division oversees revenue accounting, returns processing, forms development, and general business administration services for the Department. This position will handle a variety of Department functions including financial reconciliations and reporting. returns processing, forms coordination, contract administration, project oversight and invoicing and purchasing. The duties of this position are performed with a large degree of independence and a high level of accuracy and knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, statistics, business administration, project management or information technology management.
OR
Associate’s degree in accounting, statistics, business administration, project management, or information technology management AND four (4) years or more of professional level experience in business analysis or business administration INCLUDING two (2) years or more of business process creation or project management.
OR
High school diploma or equivalent AND six (6) years or more of professional level experience in business analysis or business administration INCLUDING four (4) years or more of business process creation or project management.
OR
Certification as a CPA or RPA.
