Job DescriptionDSM Engines is in search of qualified applicants for its Business Analyst position. In this role, our team members are responsible for analyzing a wide variety of sales and marketing data to uncover actionable insights for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the world’s leading sales and marketing organizations.ResponsibilitiesData Preparation: Validate, cleanse, and integrate data from various sales and marketing data sources to support analysis and reporting objectivesData Analytics: Analyze client data to identify customer opportunities and measure the performance of sales and marketing programsReporting & Data Visualization: Build impactful reports and interactive dashboards to deliver insights to decision makers in the client organizationClient Communications: Interact with clients and partners to capture business requirements and share analytic insightsWorkstream Management: Take full ownership of work plans and deliverables for major project workstreamsProfessional Development: Take full advantage of training and development opportunities offered by DSM. Share knowledge with other DSM team members.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Information Management, Computer Science, or similar field of studyDesire to work within the fields of sales and marketing, and solve challenges using analyticsExperience working with data sets to design and build reports and analyses for business audiencesDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies and concepts quicklyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in the US without DSM sponsorshipPreferredExperience working with relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server)Experience working with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) to present your analysisUnderstanding of ETL platforms (e.g., MS SSIS) and their impact on business processesFamiliarity with statistics, machine learning, and/or data mining techniques
