Concentrix is searching for a Data Science Specialist who has a passion for using statistical analysis and data analytic methodologies to answer business questions and provide actionable insights to our clients. This position is a core member within Voice-of-the-Customer project teams and works closely with internal analysts to address and solve client business problems.  This role requires a strong knowledge in statistical techniques and the ability to deploy these correctly along with an excellent ability to communicate complex statistical methodologies in simple terms.  In this Role, Responsibilities include:Servicing clients across a range of industries by providing analytic support using statistical techniques and data science approachesProvide data science support and statistical analyses appropriate to developed analytic plan or client needs using SAS, R, Python, or other statistical tools. Designing and writing code and queries to extract, transform, and load data for analytic projectsManipulate large data to create datasets that fulfill project analytic requirementsApply appropriate statistical analyses to data to address/solve business questionsEffectively communicate analytic results to internal analysts/team members and clientsProvide explanations regarding analytic methodology, design, and processesWork closely with project teams throughout all phases of a project keeping all parties informed throughoutBuild trusted client relationships (internal and external) through proactive project management and exceptional deliveryAbility to carry out analyses/tasks with minimal supervisionCoordinate schedule to ensure all deadlines are strictly metNecessary Skills/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in related field from 4-year college or university with 3-5 years related experience; or graduate degree (MA/MS/Ph.D.) with 1-3 years of experience. Preferred graduate degree in social sciences, marketing research, statistics or similar field that requires thorough background in data analyticsProficiency with statistical analysis packages, such as SAS, R, SPSS, Python. Other computer programs that facilitate statistical analyses, data mining services, and productivity improvement tools are a plus.Understand and be able to apply statistical techniques and data science algorithms appropriatelyAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)Ability to communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and in a manner that can be understood by those outside the field of specialty.Be self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environmentExcellent attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrated business acumen #NACNX #MarketingScientist #ConsumerResearchScientistAdditional Job DescriptionAdditional Job Description#NACNXConsumer Research ScientistMarketing ScientistBehavioral Scientist or Behavioral Data ScientistResearch StatisticianStatistician
