The incumbent independently performs a wide variety of the most complex analytical assignments, including budget oversight; fiscal policy analysis and formulation; financial reconciliation functions; acquisitions and contract management support; and budgetary and general administrative issues. Incumbent conducts and reviews analytical studies and surveys; gathers, tabulates, and analyzes financial data; formulates procedures and policies; prepares programmatic finance reports; makes recommendations on a broad spectrum of administrative and project-related problems; and acts as the lead for the Healthcare Workforce Development Division (HWDD) Operations Improvement Team.

The following education is required when general experience is used to qualify at any level: equivalent to graduation from college. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.) AND
Experience: One year of experience performing the duties of a Staff Services Analyst, Range C. or
Experience: Three years of professional analytical experience performing duties in one or a combination of the following or closely related areas: budgeting, management analysis, personnel, planning, program evaluation, or policy analysis.
