Applied Underwriters is a global risk services company that continues to expand our offerings in property and casualty insurance. We are looking for intelligent candidates that will utilize their quantitative background to lead our reporting and filing efforts in multiple states. The right candidate wants the opportunity for professional growth and expanding responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative concentration (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, etc.)
- Familiarity in data analysis, Property & Casualty actuarial concepts and insurance terminology, and programming/automation (either from employment or an academic setting)
- Strong Excel skills; an interest in coding/automation and experience with SQL
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams
