The Workplace Manager will provide strategic and operational planning that aligns with Hines and Facebook’s shared goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying learning and development opportunities for the team. This position is highly visible and requires collaborating with members of all levels. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead and inspire an outstanding team of Space Planners, Project Managers, Furniture Logistics Planners, Move Team, CAD/CAFM, and BIM TeamsDevelop collaborative relationships, earn trust with a variety of clients, and ensure service delivery expectations are met or exceededProvide Management support, motivation, employee engagement, and personal development opportunities to team reportsConduct regular check-ins and annual performance management process for direct reportsPartner with Learning and Development team to establish personal development plans & training for each individualReview and provide Internal approvals for leave, travel & expensesDevelop and manage the budgets for all staff and expensesManage annual salary budgets for direct reports including management of monthly and quarterly, forecasting, expense approvals, budget variance, accruals and reconciliationsDrive the full cycle recruiting process, and oversee the onboarding and training of new team membersLead & manage space planning effortsEstablish data-driven KPIs for individuals and teams to measure performanceIdentify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for the Workplace teamBuild relationships with key stakeholders throughout the facilities organizationIdentify opportunities to review existing processes, identify potential efficiencies, and partner with team and other stakeholders to streamline activitiesMinimum Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionTen or more years’ experience in Real Estate, Space Planning, Interior Design, Architecture or related fieldFive or more years’ experience working in a High-Tech environment preferredTwo or more years of management experience preferredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to manage over 25 direct and indirect reportsExcellent customer service skills including strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skillsStrong people management skills and a passion for developing talentAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong organizational and problem solving skills; attention to detailWe are an equal opportunity employer and support workforce diversity.
