The Summer Internship Program at Niagara is unique in that interns work directly on high impact projects within one of our HQ departments. Interns will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where they will be asked to be a key part of our operations. During this 10-12 week full-time internship, participants are encouraged to think outside the box and use a continuous improvement mindset to approach projects and come up with solutions. Interns get the opportunity to network as a part of our talent pipeline and potentially return in the future apart of our rotational program or full-time job! Two internships in Supply Chain available!1) Strategic PlanningHelps drive innovation and operational excellence by aligning the planning, operations, and sales teams at Niagara. Helps create solutions that solve business and customer supply chain objectives and helps provide recommendations on capex planning and inventory and production strategies. 2) Continuous ImprovementThe Supply Chain Continuous Improvement (CI) team owns process and technology design initiatives within the Supply Chain department. CI, together with Business Intelligence (BI) and Training teams makes up “Supply Chain Solutions” team which is shaping the future of how the Supply Chain department operates. SCCI Intern project work typically involves analyzing data and recommending solutions, learning new software and assessing its fit for Supply Chain processes, researching analytical methods to solve Supply Chain problems and developing models to study and test their fit to Niagara.
