DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENTThe intern will have the opportunity to interact with various subject matter experts, technical writers and management throughout NLG. This interaction with provide them a foundational understanding of the project management and procedural documentation. Further, they will be required to complete and report outs on project status, meet deliverables set by the Project Lead who will educate them on managing and executing a highly visible project aimed to reduce risk and improve training and on boarding. They will have the opportunity to work on a project team as well as work independently with oversight of the Project Lead.TYPICAL JOB ASSIGNMENTS1. Assist the Project Lead by job shadowing and documenting procedures aimed to reduce single points of failure and minimize risk. 2. Execute against a project plan and coordinate/communicate updates during weekly meetings with project members and management.3. Assist with the development of New Hire Reference Guide aimed to improve training and on boarding of new associates.
