Marucci Sports is looking for a highly motivated Strategic Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our Accounting team in Baton Rouge. The Strategic Financial Analyst (SFA) is responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting all financial and operation data to assist executive leadership in making well informed decisions.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Evaluate financial performance by consolidating, comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.Create and provide monthly reports, which include key operational metrics, financial results, and variance reporting to executive leadership.Gathers and compiles all departments/divisions cumulative data to prepare and present Quarterly Reporting to Board of Directors.Prepares Debt Compliance Reports. Maintains immaculate records to assist with documenting internal controls over financial reporting in order to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley within the required deadlines.Assist in design and document dashboards, alerts and reports for operations analysis.Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; MBA preferred.3-5 years of proven professional experience as a certified public accountant, auditor or financial analyst.Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability and desire to work well with all levels of the company.Proficient in excel spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and Financial Software applications.Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting and business environments.Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the position, thee employee is regularly required to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
