RESPONSIBILITIESThe Organizational Development intern will be working on various tasks to provide support for Northwell Health’s new, streamlined self-service platform. Polaris, as well as support the operating cadence and evolution of our HR workload management program. Partners with leadership to define project scope, establish goals, identify objectives, and create timelinesCreates governance structures, project plans, and communication mechanisms to manage components of large projectsWorks with subject matter experts to ensure that major milestones are met in order to achieve the necessary dependenciesMaintains project management tools, such as project charters, project plans, risk registers, issue logs, etcTracks and compiles status reports to ensure proper awareness through all team membersIdentifies and escalates risks and issues as needed to proactively remove roadblocks or resolve problemsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONCurrently enrolled in Bachelor degree program, majoring in Business, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Technology or related field, requiredKnowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word Basic understanding of project management and process improvement
