Summary Nextfed is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its growing Management Consulting and Merger and Acquisitions advisory business. Who We Are: Nextfed is a growing advisory business focused on helping Private Equity, and strategic clients make profitable investments in the defense, aerospace, and national security markets. We have a flat hierarchy and supportive team culture, with room for advancement and stretch opportunities. Who We’re Looking For: We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who enjoys working in a fast-paced “startup” environment, has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, is open to early exposure to C-suite clients, and has an interest in the aerospace, defense, and intelligence markets.  The prospective senior analyst will perform analysis of company financials, market size and growth trends, customer positioning, product and services portfolios, and competitive dynamics in order to evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities within the US government market. Senior analysts will assist with the development of financial and business models and presentations that will be delivered directly to C-suite leadership and investment professionals. Desired Experience, Education, and Skills:- 2-5 years of experience working for a management consulting firm, investment bank or in a corporate strategy, M&A or business development/ capture role in the defense, aerospace and national security sectors- Bachelors in a relevant field i.e. Business, Economics- Demonstrated ability to build market models and conduct financial projections in Excel- Ability to analyze and forecast US government budgets a plus- Ability to develop clear, concise and persuasive PowerPoint briefs used for strategic decision-making- Excellent presentation skills and client-facing disposition
