You will directly benefit clients and truly affect their bottom line. Prior knowledge or exposure to tax law is not required. We offer an extensive training program allowing you to become experts within our organization.Responsibilities Identify, analyze and qualify value-oriented benefits for companiesSubstantiate technical analysis within the legal tax standard through presentations and written reportsAssist in analysis and manipulation of client data (both financial and industry-specific)Execute site visits in order to conduct client interviews and gather and review client documentationResearch relevant technical and industry specific topicsProvide technical reports and analysisProvide insight in order to benefit from additional credits and incentives that may be applicableConsult with CPAs and the C-level suite on tax incentive credits and related business processCollaborate and coordinate closely with quality control, client relations, accounting, and tax controversy departments to ensure client satisfactionAct as a trusted tax consultant to alliantgroup’s clientsClient management skills to ensure analysis and timelines are metAnalyze client financials, projects, and documentation while identifying client value Qualifications Advanced College degree from a top tier university or graduate programMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm is preferredPrevious experience in a client-facing role is requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentAbility to articulate and relay information in an effective and efficient mannerHigh sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to maintain confidentiality with company and client informationReceptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essentialProficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required20-30% travel within the United StatesLives in Houston, TX – preferredDo Work That Matters. alliantgroup.
