The Tuesday Company is looking for a Sales Intern to work on our civic engagement app this summer. The Team: The Sales Intern reports directly to our small but ambitious DC-based Sales & Partnerships team to find and support the next generation of clients on our app. Responsibilities:Support our business development with qualitative research about advocacy organizations, labor unions, and electoral candidates who might be good clientsAnalyze and summarize a complex market to make concrete recommendations for future business opportunitiesConduct quantitative research into FEC reports, tax returns submitted by 501c3, 501c4, and 501c5 organizationsSupport existing clients by writing blog posts and helping us share best practices for online organizing Requirements:Extremely well-organized, and passion for helping others be organizedSelf-starter able to work independently on projectsStrong writing and communication skills for internal and external useAdvanced experience with data management in Excel Experience query data with R or SQLPreferred Experience and Disposition:Capable of jumping down the research rabbit hole for in-depth research projectsThrives in an environment with priorities and deadlinesLove of politics and a willingness to become an issue area expert Location: This role is based in Washington D.C. Commitment: We ask for a minimum 10 week, full time commitment with a flexible start-date.
