This is a Pathways Intern excepted service position. This position is designed to provide a career-oriented introduction to the background, concepts, and scope of writing and editing functions in the state office and a practical understanding of the policies of the employing organization.ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of routine writing and editing tasks to gain experience and technical competence in the methods, procedures, and techniques of writing and editing in the federal government.Responsible for drafting various routine documents in response to requests from Congressional and White House staffs, partner agencies, non-profit organizations and the general public.Provides writing and editing support on special projects.Maintains suspense management and document control procedures.
