You will be the sole manager of a 46-member orchestra, and will report to the board. You will be responsible for all the non-musical matters of our organisation. These can include:1) scheduling rehearsals/performances 2) running rehearsal/performance venues3) stage management 4) archiving/distributing scores and parts5) human resources 6) counselling musicians7) market research/publicity 8) liaising with local government 9) running website/WeChat accountGraduates in all subjects are welcome to apply. Work experience in arts administration is not obligatory, but you will need to show good business sense. You should speak Mandarin fluently, or be willing to acquire working proficiency over the summer.
