LinQuest is seeking an experienced Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Architect to join our team in our office in El Segundo. LinQuest provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force’s acquisition of state of the art military satellite ground and space communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground systems.Responsibilities:Lead working groups and develop MILSATCOM architectures and supporting documentationElicit and capturing stakeholder needs in modelsDevelop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documentsProvide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering teamIntegrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering softwareRequired Experience:BS in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience5-10 years broad technical and managerial experience with DoD, including systems engineering in support of Acquisition, JCIDS, or Analysis of Alternatives processesDemonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities, with special emphasis on space architecture development and communications infrastructuresExperience working with DoDAF, SysML, and MBSEStrong written, verbal, and presentation skillsUS Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance are required for the position Preferred Experience:Experience in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A)Experience with Sparx EASubject matter expertise in SMC program support, especially in MILSATCOM (or other space-based systems)INCOSE and/or OCSMP certificationsTS/SCI Clearance We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to providing a work environment that values and respects each Team Member as an individual and important member of our culturally diverse organization.
