Maisons Marques & Domaines is seeking a Junior Sales Analyst who will be a key contributor in managing sales information systems, extracting and analysing relevant sales data, and providing sales data information and analysis to management and sales force. This is an entry-level role that revolves around MMD’s data platform, Vermont Information Processing system (VIP).Key Responsibilities:· Gain expertise with VIP & SRS data platforms and understand the flow of data in order to maintain accurate reporting.· Collaborate with VIP team to maintain database (item set up, item catalog).· Work with Business Analyst to implement new CRM & pricing tools in VIP.· Collect, evaluate and report sales data in order to understand the state of the business and find new business opportunities.· Prepare reporting & powerpoint decks for supplier meetings and distributor business reviews.· Assemble meaningful data for competitor assortment and pricing analysis.· Assist sales team in establishing target lists and measuring sales performance against pre-set targets.· Partner with VP of Sales, Director of Sales and Regional Managers to provide ad-hoc reporting on their areas and to promote the use of our sales tools.· Support WineBook division (Bordeaux wines) in monthly price posting, inventory management, catalog creation, and sales analysis.· Help in day-to-day activities of the office such as reception of suppliers to the NY office, assisting in tasting/training set up, ordering supplies, and managing samples. Desired Traits:·      Meticulous attention to detail.·      Analytical and interested in working with data.·      Resourceful, can become more autonomous over time.·      Organizational skills to manage workload around multiple assignments.·      Motivated to learn & willing to roll up his/her sleeves.·      Interest in wine a plus!Experience:·      Education: BA/BS in business, oenology, hospitality, engineering, data science.·      Prior internship or work experience highly preferred·      Experience defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions.·      Proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint at intermediate level or above.
