DAP was recently voted one of “Baltimore’s Best Places to Work” for the second time! Learn more about DAP’s history, culture and benefits at www.dap.com/careers/ The Financial Analyst works with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance Teams to analyze monthly results and provide insight into key growth and profit drivers in our business, assists in the annual planning process and the regular forecasting process and performs ad hoc analyses and process improvement work as needed. This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager and is located in our Corporate office in Baltimore. RESPONSIBILITIES:Monthly analytics and management reportingAssist in projects designed to identify and execute profit enhancementAssist in process improvement projectsAssist in the annual planning processAssist in the monthly financial forecast, including engagement in the S&OP processWork with IT and other functional staff in developing tools that support our analytics programOther ad hoc analysis DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA preferredStrong ability to gather, organize and analyze volumes of data and build and communicate the insight developed in a broad business approachStrong financial accounting skillsStrong skills in MS Office products (Excel, Powerpoint) requiredExperience working in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and HFMStrong verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to distill complex and voluminous data into easily consumed presentationsAbility to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to apply independent judgment to solve complex problemsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment to resolve issues EEO
