As an intern on the Data Science team at Xandr, you’ll be building algorithmic capabilities that support Xandr advertising product development. During your program, you will be provided with a self-contained challenge and be expected to deliver a stand-alone feature that can be included within one of our many algorithmic products. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a powerhouse Data Science team, learn a ton and deliver something with lasting effect for our company.You will be working with many data science methods in a big data environment in the cloud. You’ll get to consult with many experienced data scientists about the various challenges we face at Xandr. Additionally, you will be working with multiple teams, participate in ideation sessions, and will have opportunities to present to large audiences.About the team:Data Science team within Xandr Tech is the algorithmic product research and development team. We are a cutting edge team of Data Scientists and Advanced Analysts. We tackle problems ranging from Descriptive Analytics to Artificial Intelligence.Most importantly we are an amazing team. The Data Science team is focused on growing everyone within their role to be the best Data Scientist they can be. We are constantly learning and teaching one another. We’re looking for new Data Scientists that are excited about building the best possible algorithmic products and build a world-class organization together.About the job:• Become an expert in Programmatic Advertising buying and selling strategies, optimization algorithms and tactics, and data visualizations• Work closely with our data science leaders and internal stakeholders to provide a stand-alone feature within one of our algorithmic products.• Design and execute tests to assess the impact of potential data science strategies.• Provide feedback and share knowledge with Data Science team members
