Candidates will help own analytics for a particular product or business at SoulCycle and work with product managers and engineers to translate the analysis into meaningful impact to the business. Our 12-week paid full-time internship program generally runs from May-August. Participants in the inaugural technology internship pod will be tasked to execute a potential business initiative collaboratively to help drive and enable growth. If you are data obsessed and passionate about how machine learning can translate to practical problems- this is a great opportunity for you! Do you want to be part of something great?  Here’s what you’ll doPerform large-scale data analysis to extract useful business insightsIdentify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by communicating results to cross-functional groupsCollaborates with a Product Manager and Engineering team to proactively manage decisions for opportunities and innovation Classify leads so that the teams can work on the most valuable casesSuggest improvements in the tools and techniques to help scale the teamRequirementsYou have strong communication and writing skillsYou can take complex ideas and distill them into simple and understandable specificationsYou love being challenged, constantly want to grow your skills and learn new things, and you’re extremely passionate about what you doYou have an entrepreneurial spirit, who does not wait for things to happenCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related technical fieldExperience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (or equivalent)Experience with SQL or other programming languages (Python, Java, and/or C++)Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employmentYou enjoy talking to highly technical customersPlus Prior internship experience in a Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Science technology roleDevelopment experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Perl, Python, etc.Soul Rewards Ride for free at all studios on a walk-in basis per our staff riding policyAdditional discounted fitness classesRetail discount – we’re an athleisure friendly environmentWe celebrate milestones, work hard and like to have funCommunal snacks, etc. SoulCycle is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
