Further, the participant will actively support ad-hoc analysis efforts utilizing patient, text or image data to identify and develop life-changing therapies to patients around the world.In addition, as technologists within Pfizer’s analytic eco-system; this role will also participate in the assessment of new technologies as well as identifying next-generation solution architectures.Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesAbility to create technical prototypes and demonstrations based on rapidly changing data setsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment; with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse audienceExperience with general supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning techniques, as well as text analysis, Natural Language Processing or Neural NetworksStrong foundational understanding of software engineering principles with hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Scala, R and/or JavaAbility to create effective visualizations and experience with current toolsets (e.g. Tableau, Shiny, D3.js)Exposure to cloud technologies for distributed processing of large datasets (eg. AWS, Azure, GCP)Background in Software Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or similar disciplines
