QuestBridge is a national nonprofit program that connects outstanding low-income students with educational opportunities that can change their lives, as well as the demographics of our nation’s leading educational institutions.Program Data Associates will play a key role in the ongoing development and operations of each program team, focusing on the quality and use of data and technology to support their assigned team (Partner Relations, Student Relations, and QuestBridge Scholars Network). These positions offer a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about using data to inform program decisions and operations. Program Data Associates will contribute to day to day program operations and quality control. They will clean, explore, analyze, and process data in intuitive and efficient ways to offer operational insights and improvements. They will also have the opportunity to collaborate with program, data, and engineering team members across other departments for thought partnership, feedback, and growth. In addition to data, analytical, and technical skills, this position has a strong focus on quality assurance, communications, and project management. If you think you will enjoy applying your data and technology skills to further improve our program efforts to fuel QuestBridge’s mission, we look forward to reviewing your application.ResponsibilitiesSupport the management of all data, technical systems, and programs that the Program uses to execute its work, including Slate (application database system) and Microsoft Excel, among othersPerform rigorous data standardization, analytics, reporting, and quality assurance on student and/or partner data, both independently and in conjunction with the other teams at QuestBridge, ensuring consistency and accuracy across various information platforms, forms surveys, and dashboardsPartner with and learn from analysts and engineers in other departments on cross-collaborative projectsAttend and staff our National College Admissions Conferences.Read and evaluate student applications for the College Prep Scholars Program, National College Match, and other various opportunities.Perform other administrative and miscellaneous tasks as needed.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of full-time professional experienceAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of organization, professionalism, and attention to detailMust be detail oriented related to data quality issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to incorporate feedback.Ability to learn new technology and a variety of software platforms. Ability to write clear documentation of programs and processes.Strong comfort with technology and data, with the ability to evaluate and improve current operationsPreferred:Beginning to Intermediate level experience using SQL and HTMLFamiliarity with code to point of understanding and executing code that has been testedExperience increasing efficiency of processes, and automation of analyses and reportingExperience using CRM platforms and applicationsQualitiesStrong belief in the goals and mission of QuestBridgeExceptional attention to detail, but able to maintain focus on larger picture.
