Now, we are looking for an Analytics intern who will help expand and elevate our commitment to getting the right insights in the hands of the right people at the right times.Who You AreYou are collaborative and scrappy. You are delighted by the challenge of working with limited resources to get insights into the hands of a broad range of audiences.You have some practical experience using Python or R to analyze data (bonus points for both!).You have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and analysis in general and are also versed in the concepts of statistical analysis.You have demonstrated an ability to generate and communicate clear and actionable insights by presenting findings, trends, and new insights.You’ve learned enough to know there is a ton about data analysis that you don’t know yet, but you are passionate about overturning new stones and working alongside mentors.You are excited about the prospect of encountering a wide range of unexpected exercises with fuzzy outcomes. You thrive in times of uncertainty, and the idea of launching head first into a task without a clear idea of what “done” looks like is exciting. You care about diversity, equity, inclusion, and data justice.What You’ll DoAs an intern on our Analytics/BI team, you’ll produce analytics and data products which illustrate insights gained from the analysis of product usage and/or customer data.You will provide custom insights reporting to support internal teams at Virtru and extend their capabilities in order to land, grow, and retain our customer base. You will use your data expertise and python/SQL skills to design, develop, and optimize customer ETL processes, data models and reporting.You will put your curiosity and expertise to work by helping our R&D teams build, execute and learn from A/B tests on product features. Where You’ll Do ItThis position reports to Virtru’s Senior Manager of Analytics and is based in our office in Washington, DC. While our office is in DC, many of our employees are remote.
