Working as part of an integrated product team, the Contract Administrator Represents PacSci EMC with negotiations regarding price and terms as well discussions with customers on topics pertinent to the performance and administration of both government and commercial contracts. The Contract Administrator will analyze the customer’s terms and conditions for acceptability of any new and / or inconsistent items. The Contract Administrator facilitates the customer with fact-finding proposal and assists the customer with problem resolution in the performance of the contract. A. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Administer assigned contracts. • Support proposal / quote efforts. • Prepare and submit proposal and quote responses to customers, including transmittal letters. • Leads negotiation of contracts with the support of the Program Manager or Proposal Manager. • Maintain communications interface with customer procurement officials (buyers / contract officers) through written and verbal means. • Receive and respond to customer inquiries; coordinate with other departments. • Develop / maintain support files, logs, contract files and other company documentation. • Coordinate all shipping documentation, including DD250s, in a timely manner. • Generate non-hardware billings. • Provide follow-up with customers to obtain payments. • Coordinate the submission for technical and hardware licenses and maintain license files / data base. • Coordinate the submission of data items to customers. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Responsibilities and duties as outlined in Section A. • Review, interpret and administer assigned commercial, large, production sustaining-type programs. • Participate in proposal efforts; provide interpretation and explanation of present and potential obligations and responsibilities imposed by contractual terms. Assist in highlighting areas of concern and risk areas contained in the SOW, specification, requirements and T&C’s. • Able to respond to medium complexity, FFP commercial request for quotes. • Leads negotiations and participates with customers involving negotiations or protection of the company’s interests. • Exposure to a significant amount of sensitive company data and information. • Education Required: Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or related field• Experience Required: 5+ years’ experience
