This position is in Tech Transfer and Logistics within Preclinical Manufacturing & Process Development in Tarrytown, NY. There is 1 position for Summer AND Fall 2020 (full time, May/June to December 2020). **NOT lab-based**This student will support a group of functional project managers who lead and manage cross-functional teams in development, transfer, and startup of new manufacturing processes and technology from Pre-Clinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) to Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS).With guidance, he/she will gain familiarity with and improve upon existing tools, resources, best practices, and/or business processes supporting project managers and/or teams to enhance accessibility and searchability of relevant information and resources and/or enable more efficient and effective communication and collaboration. He/she will work to understand customer requirements and actively act with needs in mind, and may develop and implement improvements to team collaboration or resource sites. He/she may write up routinely used meeting minutes, communicate project proposals and results, or present and document new or updated best practices or guidelines. As needed, they may also support project managers in coordination and/or facilitation of meetings through adherence to established departmental and/or company timelines.Start building your skills at Regeneron.• Must be a Junior or above• Must be pursuing a degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent science major with an interest in Project Management, Operations, Logistics and Data Analytics• Great communication and organizational skills required. Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence, or other web-based systems for team collaboration, knowledge sharing, or wiki tools.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, and Excel)• Prior laboratory experience and/or knowledge of bioprocessing is a plusGeneral Co-op Program Information:• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD or PharmD• Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) and is paid• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community• Minimum GPA of 3.0• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)• Enjoy regular 1 hour Co-op Program events: learn about other areas of the company from employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!• Present to your team on your project(s)Transportation and Housing:• A free shuttle is offered from the North White Plains or Tarrytown train stations to the Tarrytown campus• Get to know other incoming students on our closed LinkedIn page when you accept an offerThis is an opportunity to join our select team that is already leading the way in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
