OverviewERPi is currently seeking a Business Process Engineer Consultant to provide on-site support at our Fairfax, Virginia and Washington, DC sites.The mission of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Supply Chain & Logistics, Office of Procurement & Logistics is to provide a data driven, resource optimized, cost effective, and clinically focused supply chain that ensures the delivery of the highest quality of care at the greatest value to the Veteran and the Veteran’s Family. This office provides support to all VHA healthcare facilities.ERPi will conduct stakeholder engagement in the establishment and maintenance of new and existing programs; prepare stakeholder engagement plans offering recommendations to effectively target and liaise with key stakeholder groups; and assist with, and make recommendations for, continuous process improvements for all programs under the purview of the Directorate. We also will report on stakeholder engagements and stakeholder engagement plans and recommendations to effectively target and liaise with key stakeholder groups.ResponsibilitiesRequired Skills and Experience:BA/BS Required; MA/MS/MBA Preferred5+ years of experience in the development and application of communication planning, preferably within the healthcare community. Perform analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse, enterprise-wide processes and application systems within the healthcare supply chain community.Design study process; conducting studies in support of system design and business process re-engineering, improvement and management.Develop implementation plans, and supporting the process of implementing and sustaining improvements.Support Data Governance with Data Model Plans and Data Models.Support legacy systems mapping to new applications to existing metrics, data interfacing/integration to support metrics, new tool analysis, data tool migration, process mapping for existing applications and metrics, business process flows.Support the operations of Clinically driven Strategic Sourcing (CDSS) with emphasis on hospital production/operations management through an array of concepts and methods to maximize an organization’s efficiency.Perform tasks which require knowledge of Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools; an understanding of team dynamics and how to assign team member roles and responsibilities based on a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) model in accordance with Six Sigma principles.Employ quality management systems, tools, and techniques to help organizations transform, including, but not limited to Lean Six Sigma (LSS), ISO 9000/9001, and the Malcom Baldrige Quality Award criteria.Desired Skills and Experience:Knowledge or credentials with LSS and/or ISO 9000/9001Knowledge or experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), Cerner, Prosthetics, Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT), Department of Defense (DoD) Abi, and LogiCole, feasibility studies for introducing new data tools, market research, and Gartner evaluations. Clearance: Public Trust
