Check out our growing team and join us! of Position:  The New Business Coordinator is responsible for assisting the New Business Development team in new business efforts including coordinating with suppliers and clients on execution of marketing campaigns, conducting client research, prospective client preparation and marketing support. The ideal candidate for this role is an independent worker but with a team player mindset, enthusiastic, and an energetic approach. The New Business Coordinator manages the operations behind the scenes of the New Business Development team, freeing them up to close new opportunities. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following.Key Responsibilities and Attributes:Support of Non-Retainer Client AccountsCompile vendor estimates and update cost elements in pepconnectGenerate program timelinesGenerate and/or update coupon redemption reportsAssist teammates with the file closure processAttend kick off / alignment meeting calls and provide recapsAssist team on large-scale initiativesAct as a backup when the main contact for a program is out of the officeAssist with vendor POs and billing as neededEnsure all program information is up to date in pepconnectCommunicate with clients and vendors, as directedNew Business Development SupportCoordinate monthly sales team meeting including scheduling, agenda, reports, and researchMaintain prospective client databaseManage NBD team activity reports and trackingAssist with proposal tracking and maintain centralized archive of submitted proposalsSupport NBD team with presentations and activity trackingLead and compile research on current and prospective clientsMarketing SupportManage website and social media updates with direction from New Business Development TeamManage marketing budget and coordinate trade show and seminar participationEstablish and maintain a centralized archive of presentations, marketing materials (case studies) and communications that is accessible to various functional groups internallyGeneral ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain internal documentsManage supplier registration database and company awardsAssist with travel arrangements as neededAssist with coordinating client eventsOther duties assigned as neededKnowledge/Skills Preferred:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. A successful candidate will have the following skills:Preferred, but not required: Bachelors in Business or Communication a 2.8+ GPA from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals as well as operate internal, online systemsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to be client facingAbility to mentor, grow and work harmoniously as part of a larger teamAbility to do intermediate-level math (calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages)Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formAbility to problem solveEffectively utilizes staff including delegating as appropriateAbility to manage healthy business processesTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
