The Associate Engagement Specialist’s main focus is the execution of tasks and small projects related to FIX trading solutions between Buy-Side and Sell-Side clients. This person will work closely with internal team members and external parties to ensure that their tasks and projects are delivered on time. They will help develop and apply best practices to team procedures with an eye on constantly improving overall efficiency of the work.We are looking for an organized individual that can coordinate with a variety of teams, effectively communicate with various stakeholders (clients, internal teams, other external partners), and drive software solutions to completion. In this role, knowledge of trading tools, the financial industry, technical troubleshooting, and project management will be gained.Job Functions:Implement and configure Eze Software’s product suite with a focus on Trading modulesManage multiple small projects and tasks related to medium to large scale projectsRespond to change requests initiated by clients and internal teams within defined SLAMaintain current status updates for projectsFocus on learning trading workflows, asset classes and market intricacies.Daily communication with both buy side and sell side clientsHelp refine implementation plans to consistently and efficiently deliver against company, team, and individual goals critical to various projectQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from a competitive undergraduate university0-2+ years of professional experience in either a financial services or technology support role preferred.Experience with or a desire to learn the FIX protocol (Financial Information Exchange) and/or electronic tradingExceptional written and verbal communication skills requiredStrong organization, time management and prioritization skillsAbility to navigate relational databases, Windows server environments and experience learning new technical toolsMust be able to effectively manage expectations on deliverables to Engagement ManagerAbility to understand key inter dependencies and impact of workWho We Are:We are a trusted and proven partner to the investment community.
