James Wang, BS IEOR ’90

James Wang, BS IEOR ‘90, has been happily married for over 20 years. After spending 15 years in the airline industry, he made a career pivot away from IEOR and now works as a CFO consultant, following the completion of his Executive MBA at UCLA.

James is proud that his daughter, Jocelyn, is now a sophomore at Cal, continuing the Golden Bear tradition—even if not in engineering. He shares, “She loves it in Bear Territory. We often trade stories about Berkeley and reflect on how much has changed, and how much still feels the same.”
