Daniel Giamouridis

Daniel Giamouridis, PhD, is a Quantitative Research Director at Qube Research & Technologies (QRT). Previously, he was a Managing Director at BofA Securities, where he held senior roles in quantitative research and trading, most recently as Global Head of the Systematic Strategies Group within Equities Trading. Earlier, he was an Academic Consultant to Citi’s Global Equity Quantitative Research Group.

Daniel’s work has focused on quantitative investing, systematic strategies, portfolio management and risk, spanning both industry and academic research. He is Co-Editor of the Financial Analysts Journal, a role he has held for more than a decade. He has also held academic appointments, including Associate Professor of Finance at the Athens University of Economics and Business, and is an Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow at Bayes Business School.

Daniel holds a PhD in Finance from Bayes Business School and an MEng in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens
