Entrepreneur, Blockchain Developer & Investor, Software Systems Engineer

Hello, my name is Matthew. I a second-year part-time IEOR student with a passion for starting, making, and doing [big] things. Currently I am working at my company Roseware where I build software products and provide development services for startups in innovative spaces like virtual reality and blockchain, based in Palo Alto. I'm working on a second startup in the cryptocurrency space with the aim to be a leader in consumer crypto-investing called Polyledger where I do research and product development along with two other Cal engineers (we're looking for superior engineering talent, please contact me if you know anyone!). I'm also pretty big on investing in digital assets and creating the optimal portfolio with a good yield/risk ratio.

Prior to my current ventures I worked at Zendesk in San Francisco as a software engineer and application developer. I've worked with clients and partners such as Trello, Comcast, T-Mobile, and GrabTaxi on projects bringing in over $500K+ in revenue. I have 4+ years of software engineering experience and I chose the decision analytics program at Berkeley to improve software decision-making with risk management strategies and machine learning. Prior to Zendesk I did my undergraduate at Santa Clara University studing Economics, completed coursework in the engineering school at Stanford University, and went to Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, CA.

Feel free to reach out to me if you're interested in getting in touch about business opportunities, blockchain research opportunities/collaboration, or joining the Polyledger team as a technical co-founder.
