Prof. Robert C. Leachman will be the keynote speaker at the Modeling and Analysis of Semiconductor Manufacturing (MASM) Conference in Arlington, Virginia, Dec. 12-14, 2016. The IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) has just announced its 2016 award winners and Kory Hedman (PhD IEOR '10) has won the Outstanding Young Engineer Award. He was honored by IEEE PES for his "contributions and leadership in the application of operations research and topology control to electric energy markets and power systems analysis." Dr. Hedman was also recognized at the IEEE PES annual general meeting which took place in Boston, MA from July 17-21.
