General Laboratory Rules
- Use of the computer laboratory is restricted to those with valid card-keys, and in the case of the 4th Floor and PC Laboratories, an IEOR MS Windows domain account. If you suspect someone is using the laboratory without a valid card-key, please notify Jay Sparks (see Laboratory Contact List).
- Laboratory users with a higher priority (see Priority of Users above) may bump users with a lower priority. Please be considerate when bumping/being bumped. If you are having trouble with another user of the laboratory, please notify one of the people on the Laboratory Contact List.
- Be courteous -CLEAN UP after yourself.
- DO NOT take food and drink into the laboratories - spillages on computer equipment can be disasterous. Please treat this equipment as you would your own.
- Most people are in these laboratories to work; please refrain from loud noise and disruptive behavior.
Lost Property
Any property found in the laboratories by anyone on the
Laboratory Contact List, will be held in the Main Office
room 4141 Etcheverry Hall for the duration of the current semester. After this time, it
will be handed over to the University Police lost and found.
