Computer Accounts

Accounts are available on a per-semester basis. To create or renew an account, you must have the following:

• Be an active IEOR or ORMS UCB student with a valid Calnet ID.
• $30 non-refundable payment using your CARS account.
• Non-IEOR majors: please contact sparks@decf.berkeley.edu for account creation.

Apply for IEOR Computer Account (includes 250 page printer quota):

Increase your print quota ($5 per 100 pages) or apply for after-hours cardkey access (Grads only):

• IEOR Printer Quota

You will be required to abide by the following policies and guidelines:

• UC Berkeley Computer Use Policy
• UC Electronic Mail Policy
• Publishing on the Berkeley Web

It is also possible for any student within the Department to have an account on kepler.berkeley.edu, a UNIX machine managed by DECF (Davis-Etcheverry Computing Facility). Accounts on DECF are available in various categories: free/semester charge, quotas/unlimited file size and number, etc. To apply online, visit DECF application.
