****The following concentration areas may guide students in selecting their unrestricted ellectives based on professional goals although the selected electives do not have to be from any single area. An updated list of specific courses suggested for the different concentration areas are posted on the IEOR website.
Concentrations:
Entrepreneurship
Design and New Media
Supply Chain and Logistics
Robotics and Automation
Business and Economics
Mathematics and Statistics
Computer Science
Behavioral Sciences
Additonal Requirements\Notes:
1. A course in Computer Programming must be completed by the end of your Sophmore year, CS9C, CS9F, CS9G or any equivalent coursework (with approved petition) is acceptable.
2. No Course can be used to statisfy simultaneously two requirements.
3. The 190 series courses can not be used to fulfill any engineering requirements (engineering units, courses, technical electives or otherwise). IEOR 172 cannot be used for engineering breadth either.

**IEOR 172 is a replacement course for Stat 134. Wherever the course catalog shows Stat 134 as a required prerequisite for an IEOR course, either IEOR 172 or Stat 134 may be taken. In semesters when both are offered, we recommend you take IEOR 172. Students may not receive credit for both Stat 134 and IEOR 172. Moreover, IEOR 172 cannot be used as an engineering or IEOR elective; it serves solely as a statistics course.
